Alexandra Gushard-Edwards is the owner of Marie Rose Photography & Videography, a thriving photography and videography business based in Frederick. A proud mom to a 14-year-old, Alexandra has been successfully running her business since 2021. She is passionate about empowering her clients and helping them build confidence through her work. Specializing in brand elevation and boudoir photography, Alexandra’s mission is to help individuals celebrate self-love and elevate their personal and professional presence. With a keen eye for detail and a dedication to creating meaningful, empowering experiences, she is committed to capturing both stunning images and transformative moments.

I am an artist from Frederick, Maryland, currently studying at Ithaca College, where I get to explore new creative possibilities and perfect my craft.

As a mom and former elementary school teacher, Tiffany Kowalsky is a natural at connecting with families. She specializes in family portraits and loves finding creative ways to catch those big, authentic smiles. From capturing genuine family interaction and belly laughing to involving the kids with creating new poses, she makes the whole experience fun, comfortable and memorable. Tiffany feels privileged to create keepsakes that families can cherish for years to come.

Carly Lederer is an up-and-coming mural and portrait artist who loves living in Frederick and being a part of this engaged and energized community. Her dream is to utilize her art and her connections created here through Rotary International, Leadership Frederick, Habitat for Humanity, and amazing opportunities like this one, to bring light and creativity to underserved communities all over the world. Art is just the start.

Ted Luck is a career educator having worked with Frederick County Public School for more than three decades in various capacities and Hood College.  He is currently the Chair of the Board of Trustees at Frederick Community College.   Ted Luck is also an acrylic and collage artist (TedluckArt.com).  He is an avid collector of vintage cameras.

Wendell Poindexter is a native of Frederick, MD.  He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and his Masters of Art Degree in Publication Design from the University of Baltimore.

Wendell is a member of the art faculty at Frederick Community College (FCC) where he is also the Program Manager of the Art Department and manager of the Mary Condon Hodgson Art Gallery.

Wendell has enjoyed teaching for the University of Baltimore, Publication Design graduate program, Montgomery College, Rockville campus, where he taught Drawing and Intermediate Graphic Design. Other institutions include Hood College and the Maryland Summer Center for the Gifted and Talented (MSCA) at Goucher College, Baltimore Maryland.

Locally, Poindexter was co-chair of the Public Art Commission for the City of Frederick and a former member and vice president of the Board of Directors for the Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center (DVAEC). Presently, Poindexter has had the extreme pleasure serving on the African American Resources Cultural and Heritage (AARCH) Society commission. 

Wendell has curated exhibitions for the DVAEC, FCC, MSCA, and the Frederick Historic Preservation Commission.  He has exhibited his works in numerous local galleries, including the Delaplaine, the Blue Elephant, The Mary Condon Hodgson Art Gallery at FCC, Frostburg State University, the Parrish Gallery, Georgetown and P Street Picture, Washington, DC.

I am Ted Robinson, a Freelance Photographer with a passion for the art of digital photography and the beauty that it captures in iconic images from our very own Frederick County, Maryland. I am the founder and owner of ArtFrederick.com, formerly Monocacy River Photography, an online gallery of true-to-life digital prints of Frederick County and other beautiful vistas from across the country.

Emma Sandler is an artist from Frederick, Maryland primarily working in sculpture and illustration. Themes that inform their work include folklore, anatomy and traditions. Sandler received their bachelor's degree from Hood College and currently works at the Frederick Arts Council, where they managed the installation of the 2nd Annual African Americans of Excellence Exhibit.

Zhanna Snyder is a recent college graduate with a degree in Film, specializing in cinematography and editing. Currently working as a Video and Photography Specialist in the Marketing Department at Stevenson University, Zhanna brings a creative eye and eager work ethic to all she does.

Born in Texas, Raised in MD. Graduate of Frostburg State University (Art & Business) 2007, Mortgage Loan officer since 2012 and have continued my art through oil paintings, figurative and abstract portrait work along with printmaking and mixed media art markets and online sales
